Integrative Education Policies

Cancellation Policy

Live Courses:

All cancellations must be in writing, received three weeks prior to the Symposium Refunds will not be granted after that date. Eligible refunds will be issued (less a $50 processing fee) following the symposium. No refunds will be granted without written cancellation.  Integrative Education is not responsible for any non-refundable travel plans you make.

 

Integrative Education reserves the right to cancel any course/session with due cause and refund in full. Weather and/or transportation difficulties are not the responsibility of the workshop sponsor, Integrative Education, and failure of a chosen means of transportation is not grounds for tuition refund unless the Symposium/session is cancelled.

Online Courses:

Defined as Distance Learning - Interactive, Distance Learning - Independent Self-Study with specific dates offered, and Blended/Hybrid courses that include Interactive and Independent Self-Study components.

Completion Policy

Live Courses:

Notice to participants: In order to qualify for AOTA CEUs, you must attend at least 3 hours of the course (for partial credit), meet at least 2 of the objectives for the course and sign in and out on the sheets provided documenting your attendance at the course. A self-evaluation will be used for participants to determine if they have met the objectives of the course.

Online Courses:

To qualify for AOTA CEUs, you must complete the course in its entirety.  For Distance Learning - Interactive courses, a self-evaluation will be used for participants to determine if they have met the objectives of the course.  For Distance Learning - Independent Self-Study, the completion of a post-course quiz with a passing score of 80% is required.  For Blended/Hybrid courses, a self-evaluation for the Interactive portion is required and the completion of a post-course quiz with a passing score of 80% is required.

Occupational Therapists

Integrative Education is an AOTA Approved Provider, provider number 11607, for live courses.  The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA or indicate AOTA approval of a certification of other professional recognition.

Physical Therapists

Integrative Education is authorized to assign 18 CEUs for the "Integrative Education Symposium" held on February 27-29, 2020 course approval #2658 by the MN Board of Physical Therapy.  The courses were approved for Category 1 continuing education credit since they meet the standards of part 5601.2500 for educational activities. One hour of credit will be awarded for each 60 minutes actually spent on educational activities.  We will seek PT approval for the 2021 Symposium after we determine our courses.

Social Workers

Integrative Education is an approved provider for continuing education credits for social workers through the MN Board of Social Work, sponsor number CEP-1102.

Speech-Language Pathologists

Integrative Education is not an ASHA approved provider. However, ASHA-certified therapists may receive contact hours for attendance at non-approved courses that qualify as professional development following submission of course(s) on a "Certification Maintenance Compliance Form". A certificate of CE attendance will be provided by Integrative Education as record of attendance and hours in the event of an audit. Refer to these websites for additional information:

Distance Learning – Interactive: Within one week of the course, the participant will be emailed a certificate of attendance following confirmation of attendance and completion of the self-evaluation.

 

Distance Learning – Independent Self-Study: Following the passing score of 80% on the post-course quiz, the participant will be sent a course completion certificate.

Blended/Hybrid:  For the interactive portion of the course, the participant will be emailed a certificate of attendance following confirmation of attendance and completion of the self-evaluation within one week.  For the Self-Study portion, following the passing score of 80% on a post-course quiz, the participant will be sent a course completion certificate.

Social Workers
