Online Courses:

Occupational Therapists

Integrative Education is an AOTA  Approved Provider, number 11607, for Distance Learning - Interactive, Distance Learning - Independent Self-Study, and Blended/Hybrid courses that include both interactive and independent study aspects.  The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA or indicate AOTA approval of a certification of other professional recognition.​

 

Distance Learning – Interactive: Within one week of the course, the participant will be emailed a certificate of attendance following confirmation of attendance and completion of the self-evaluation.

​

Distance Learning – Independent Self-Study: Following the passing score of 80% on the post-course quiz, the participant will be immediately issued a course completion certificate that can be downloaded or printed.

​

Blended/Hybrid:  For the interactive portion of the course, the participant will be emailed a certificate of attendance following confirmation of attendance and completion of the self-evaluation within one week.  For the Self-Study portion, following the passing score of 80% on a post-course quiz, the participant will be immediately issued a course completion certificate that can be downloaded or printed.

As of 2020, AOTA approves individual courses based on their criteria for standards of practice in order to assign AOTA CEUs.  Each IE course lists whether contact hours and/or AOTA CEUs will be awarded based on AOTA approval.

 

NBCOT Contact Hours

NBCOT does not approve providers for continuing education. As a continuing education company, we provide Contact Hours for all of our learning opportunities. Contact Hours earned from course attendance can be used towards NBCOT license renewal as a professional development activity. Be sure to retain your course completion certificate for verification of attendance.

State Licensure

Each state has different requirements for maintain an OT state licensure. Click here for a reference which shows each state's requirements.

Physical Therapists

The American Physical Therapy Association does not approve continuing education providers or courses.  Continuing education requirements are regulated by state boards of physical therapy.  Please check with your state licensing board for requirements for approved credits.

Social Workers

Integrative Education is an approved provider by the MN Board of Social Work, CEP #1102.

​

Speech-Language Pathologists

Integrative Education is not an ASHA approved provider. However, ASHA-certified therapists may receive contact hours for attendance at non-approved courses that qualify as professional development following submission of course(s) on a "Certification Maintenance Compliance Form". A certificate of CE attendance will be provided by Integrative Education as record of attendance and hours in the event of an audit. Refer to these websites for additional information:

Notice to participants: In order to qualify for AOTA CEUs, you must attend at least 3 hours of the course (for partial credit), meet at least 2 of the objectives for the course and sign in and out on the sheets provided documenting your attendance at the course. A self-evaluation will be used for learners to determine if they have met the objectives of the course.
