Course Description

We know that our overall well-being is compromised when we experience stress and overwhelm throughout the day, impacting our work with children, youth, and families. movemindfully® tools (including Adult Permission to Pause Posters) support staff to reset as needed with simple strategies designed to ease stress, manage energy levels, and strengthen the mind-body connection. 

In this session, participants will experience movemindfully trauma-responsive mind-body practices to release stress, manage anxiety, and promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Leave this session with Breathe Move Rest practices to regulate your own nervous system and share with youth to prevent burnout by integrating these stress-management and mindfulness practices into your workday.

Course Objectives:

The course participant will be able to:

  1. Identify key mind-body strategies for well-being.

  2. Describe how to easily integrate mind-body strategies into your workday using the movemindfully Adult Permission to Pause Posters

Instructional Methods

The speaker will be using a lecture with slides and time allotted for question & answer.

Course Requirements

On-Demand Access: Following 100% completion of the course, the participant will be immediately issued a course completion certificate that can be downloaded or printed.

Continuing Education
