Course Description

Virtually every neurological and mental health issue manifests in sleep-wake dysregulation (Garcia-Rill, 2019). Therapists who evaluate, support and enhance function are constantly questioned by their clients “How do I help myself or my child sleep better?” This lunch and learn session will focus upon the science of sleep and its impact upon regulation. 

Course Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the science of sleep and its connection to regulation

  2. List 2 treatment strategies and tools for sleep as a contribution to dysregulation

Course Requirements

Following the passing score of 80% on the post-course quiz, the participant will be sent a course completion certificate.
